Making Pdf Files

With the constant changing and disappearing of web sites I have just come to realize how important it is to capture the information the instant you see it and then proceed to archive it or somehow record it.

So, this post will concern software used in creating pdf files.

There are several ways you can make pdf files from web pages.

The first way and easiest is if you have a copy of Adobe Acrobact installed on your computer.

Adobe Acrobat (the current version is number 8)

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/acrobatstd.html

Another way to make pdfs is to download software that will install a version of the pdf print driver
on your computer and then saves the file as a pdf.

First you'll need the Ghostscript software:

What is Ghostscript software:

Ghostscript is the name of a set of software that provides:

* An interpreter for the PostScript (TM) language, with the ability to convert PostScript language files to many raster formats, view them on displays, and print them on printers that don't have PostScript language capability built in;

* An interpreter for Portable Document Format (PDF) files, with the same abilities;

* The ability to convert PostScript language files to PDF (with some limitations) and vice versa; and

* A set of C procedures (the Ghostscript library) that implement the graphics capabilities that appear as primitive operations in the PostScript language.

You can download the Ghostscript software from these pages:

Now you should be able to quickly take any important web page you see on the internet and turn it into a pdf file and share it with others.

MGTOW Torrent

Using eMule to share information

Using eMule to get and share information

I've noticed that there are some files that other MRA
bloggers want to share with thier readers. I came
across the MGTOW torrent at Mininova.

The problem is with a torrent is that it isn't alway easy to share, and
recently several anti-p2p internet service providers have started using special monitoring software to "choke" the traffic of torrent users, making
Bit Torrent an less attractive option for some.

Wikipedia:

Recently, many ISPs are bandwidth throttling default
P2P ports resulting in slow performances. The 0.47b
version adds protocol obfuscation; eMule will
automatically select two ports at random in the
startup wizard.

That's the reason why I've decided to post links on
the eMule file sharing client.

Note: Some of the pages are in other languages so
you'll need a translation tool in order to view the
pages:

http://babelfish.altavista.com/

http://www.google.com/language_tools

Also, some of the sites may be missing. If you ever
find anything that's missing search for it at the
internet archives:

http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

First, you'll probably want to know more about the
software and the way eMule delivers files:

of Jerusalem eMule Protocol Specification:

You should also be aware of the fact that eMule runs through servers and right now there are only about 20.

At the peak of eMule useage in 2004-2005 there were 200 plus servers.

If you're brave enough you could set up your own sever using one of these programs:

For Windows, Linux, Mac, and there's also a Java version for all other operating systems:

And there ya go, now you too can easily share documents over a peer to peer netowrk using eMule.

Privacy and Anonymity

As a MRA blogger keeping you real identity hidden from others is an aboslute must. But how to go about doing that is the question. The obvious part is the user name or pen name that you'll be using to blog with.

If you're the creative kind then you probably don't need any help in that department. However, for others who may get stuck at this point here are some tips. First off, if you can try not to pick an obvious name like Indiana Jones, or Homer Simpson, or other well-known famous characters.

Pick names from lesser-known films or fiction books.

If that don't work then there is always the online name generators:

http://www.bannerblog.com.au/2007/03/mini_action_name_generator.php

http://noemata.net/nbng/

http://www.myprecious.us/name_generator.php

http://gangstaname.com/

http://www.chriswetherell.com/hobbit/

http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/

http://rumandmonkey.com/widgets/toys/namegen/

Okay, next you need to know about anonymous browsing. The best thing you can do is use something like

Incognito:

http://www.patdouble.com/content/blogsection/3/6/

It's a live operating system that runs directly from the computers cd tray. The only thing with Tor is if you use it to do a lot of searching then you may find yourself blocked from certain search engines, this is why I don't use it.

Just pick something from one of these links and use it when you want to do your posting to the internet:

Now you need to find some hosting. Unfortunately at this time there doesn't seem to be many options. But I do have 3 host (besides blogger and wordpress) that can be used:
